Marmoset Toolbag v1.01 Update

We’ve just gone live with the first point update to Toolbag, version 1.01. The new version features a double-layered material channel and expanded support for more texture and mesh file types. For the full list of bug fixes and added features, visit:

Marmoset Toolbag’s Official Changelog

This is a free update to all users, trial or registered. Simply download the new  installer from our Toolbag product page and you’ll be ready to rock. If you are a trial user, this will reset your trial to a new 20 day session to give you some more time to try it out.

In addition to the point release, a series of 6 videos showcasing Toolbag’s main features, and just generally making the thing look sexy, are now available!  You can view them all on:

DoD Postmortem on Gamasutra

We received a great opportunity from Gamasutra.com to release a postmortem on the making of Darkest of Days.  It’s a great 4-page read that dives behind-the-scenes and shares the highs and lows we experienced through the development process on our debut title.
